Mr. Yugui Chen is the Secretary General of Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He used to hold the posts of Deputy Director and Director of Accounting Department of Ministry of Finance, as well as Deputy Secretary-General of Accounting Standards Committee of Ministry of Finance. Mr. Chen holds a concurrent post of tutor for candidates of doctor degree in the Research Institute of Fiscal Science, Ministry of Finance, and the President of the Research Institute of Finance and Cost for Chinese Young & Middle Aged Persons.Before March 2002, Mr. Chen was engaged in the research of accounting reform and the preparation of accounting standards for many years, thereafter, Mr. Chen had successively held the posts of the Chinese Representative to the Government Expert Panel of the International Accounting Standards, an observer at the International Accounting Standards Committee, and a member of the Developing Countries Committee in the ISAR of UNCTAD, and an international research fellow of Financial Accounting Standards Board of U.S. As the main writer, Mr. Chen involved in the drafting of Programme for Accounting Reform, Accounting Standards for Business Enterprises. Mr.Chen's main works include Corporate Financial Accounting, Stock Company Financial Management, The Explanation and Implement of American Accounting Standards, On Financial Accounting Reform, Financial Management of Transnational Business, etc. Some of the theses and works ever gained the prize of the Top Ten Economics Reading Materials and the National Award for Outstanding Books. |
