Sun Zheng
 
 
Mr. Sun Zheng, has been Professor of Accounting at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE). He graduated from SUFE with Ph. Degree of Economics (Accounting), and now is the supervisor of Ph.D Program and Vice President of SUFE. He is also Vice-chairmen, Accounting Society of China (ASC); Member of the China Accounting Standards Committee of Ministry of Finance; Vice-chairmen, Accounting Society of Shanghai (ASS); Vice-chairmen, Shanghai Association of CFO(SACFO); Member of Advisory Committee for Listing Company Affairs, Shanghai Stock Exchange; Leader of research & teaching for the 21st century, Ministry of Finance and Model Young Teacher of Ministry of Education.
During the period of study for Ph. Degree, he was instructed by Professor Lou Erxing and researched on Accounting Theory. His research also goes deep into the fields of Financial Accounting, Cooperate governance and Capital Market. His writings include 8 monographs and over 80 articles in the scientific journals home and abroad such as Accounting Horizons (published by AAA), Accounting Research, Audit Research and China Accounting & Finance Review. He honored by Distinguished Paper Award, China Philosophy and Social Sciences Association and Distinguished Paper Award, Shanghai Philosophy and Social Sciences Association.
Assigned by Ministry of Finance, Prof. Sun studied as Professorial Secondment at Arthur Anderson Training Center, Chicago, USA from June to August, 1999. He has been visiting scholar to University of Connecticut, USA for one year in 1997 and paid academic visit to Warwick University, UK in 1996.
